Changelog

HEIC support, view notifications, feedback export, and a round of fixes.

A batch of improvements and fixes shipped this month, covering file support, notifications, and quality-of-life refinements across the review workflow.

HEIC and HEIF image support. Files shot on iPhone or other Apple devices can now be previewed directly in the browser. The viewer converts the HEIC file automatically, no manual conversion needed before uploading.

View notifications. A new toggle in Settings lets you receive an email the first time a reviewer opens any of your review links. It fires once per reviewer, on first open, so you always know when eyes are on your work. Off by default.

Export feedback as Markdown. The download menu on any request now includes an option to save all reviewer comments as a formatted .md file, including timecodes, page numbers, and revision separators. Useful for pulling feedback into edit notes or project management tools.

Project-level comment badge. Comments left without a timecode, pin, or page reference now show a blue "Project" badge on the review page, request detail view, and shared viewer. This makes it easier to distinguish general feedback from frame-specific or time-specific notes at a glance.

Approve clears earlier comments. When a reviewer approves a file after already leaving comments, those earlier comments are now automatically removed. An approval is a clean sign-off. The prior notes no longer linger.

GIF animation fixed. Animated GIFs were being flattened to a single frame during upload processing. They now play correctly in the viewer.

WebP download fixed. Downloading a WebP image was converting it to JPG. Files now download in their original format.

Dashboard back-button refresh fixed. Navigating back from a request to the dashboard sometimes showed an empty list until the page was manually refreshed. The dashboard now restores its state immediately.
